How long will my cupcakes last?
Retro Bakery cupcakes are meant to be eaten the day of purchase. There are no preservatives in our buttercream, Baby!
However, if you keep them in an air-tight container, they should stay fresh for at least a couple days. There is no need for refrigeration, but you need to keep them below 76 degrees.
(But, come on. Can YOU wait a couple days to eat your cupcakes? I didn’t think so.)
How close is Retro Bakery to The Strip? Do you deliver?
Retro is about 25 minutes NW of The FAMOUS Las Vegas Strip. We are a VERY expensive cab ride, so we HIGHLY recommend getting your cake or cupcakes delivered.
We can deliver any amount of cupcakes or cake most everywhere in Vegas for $20 (including the Famous Las Vegas Strip).
Hotel deliveries must be made to you directly or someone in your party at the Bell Desk or Valet of the hotel. We cannot leave any items with the Front Desk or take anything directly to your room. Deliveries must be charged prior to leaving the bakery. Sorry, no cash payments at delivery.
We only deliver from 11-1, 1-3, or 3-5 p.m.

What’s in your buttercream?
BUTTER. That’s it. No shortening allowed.
Do you bake cookies?
Yes! We bake sugar cookies every day and top them with vanilla or cinnamon buttercream. Chocolate chip cookies are available almost every day. We offer Gluten-Free Peanut Butter cookies by request, and Saturdays we feature the incredible "MegaChip Cookie".

Do you have any vegan offerings?
We have three vegan cupcakes that are available by special request only. (24 hours notice; minimum 6 cupcakes order) Contact us to place an order.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes! Load up your gift card with any amount to satisfy the Retro Fan on your gift list!
How many people will one of Retro’s cakes feed?
6-inch: 8-10
9-inch: 18-20

Do you write on the cupcakes?
We can write on cupcakes, but you gotta keep it short! Additional charges may apply.
Why don’t you have bread?
I don’t know how to bake bread…and our cupcakes ARE that good.
Do you do wedding cupcakes or special event cupcakes?
Yes! Please email, call us, or come in and talk to us about your event and we can create something VERY special for you! The more notice you give, the better; however, most orders under 70 total require 14 days notice. If you're planning an event more than 70, please give us at least one month's notice (especially if you're planning on having special custom designs made to top each cupcake).
We recommend A Little On the Top for special custom cupcake toppers.
Can you make me an adult-themed cake for my bachelor/bachelorette party?
Retro doesn't do adult-themed or alcohol-themed cakes. There's too many kids runnin' around here!
Can I buy just one mini cupcake?
No. Mini's are sold by the dozen, but you can have TWO flavors per dozen for $12.
How do I join your CupcakEClub? And why would I?
Our CupcakEClub is EASY to join and you SHOULD join right away! If you had joined before, you would have received our previous emails of "4-Box/$4 day" and "$2 Tuesday" JUST to name a few!

YES! We have many ideas that can make LOTS of money for your organization or school! Please call us for details!
What’s YOUR favorite cupcake flavor?
Our favorites change daily (sometimes HOURLY), but right now Kari loves Maple Bacon, and Brian loves Drumstick.

Why are you guys closed for two weeks a year?
Retro is a proud, family-run business; we take two weeks of vacation a year to make sure to have some quality family time. We are usually closed one week at Christmas and one week during Summer (usually the end of June or beginning of July). We want to spend some time with our sweet children!
