Retro Bakery

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my cupcakes last?

Retro Bakery cupcakes are meant to be eaten the day of purchase. There are no preservatives in our buttercream, Baby!

However, if you keep them in an air-tight container, they should stay fresh for at least a couple days. There is no need for refrigeration, but you need to keep them below 76 degrees.

(But, come on. Can YOU wait a couple days to eat your cupcakes? I didn’t think so.)

How close is Retro Bakery to The Strip?

Retro is about 25 minutes NW of The FAMOUS Las Vegas Strip. We are a VERY expensive cab ride, so we HIGHLY recommend getting your cake or cupcakes delivered. We ONLY charge $20 for a delivery ANYWHERE in Las Vegas.

What’s in your buttercream?

BUTTER. That’s it. No shortening allowed.

Do you have any vegan offerings?

While it wasn't made specifically to be vegan, our chocolate cake does qualify as vegan. Just ask and we'll work with you to get a topping on the cupcake that will meet your needs.

Do you deliver?

Yes, for $20 we will deliver all over Las Vegas. Please allow 24 hours notice. There is no minimum order for a delivery.

Do you have gift cards?

Yes! Load up your gift card with any amount to satisfy the Retro Fan on your gift list!

How many people will one of Retro’s cakes feed?

6-inch: 8-10
9-inch: 18-20
Custom: It's up to YOU!

Do you write on the cupcakes?

We can write on cupcakes, but you gotta keep it short! Additional charges may apply.

Can you put my corporate logo on a cupcake?

YES! Please allow 7 days and we can print your logo on individual cupcakes! The price starts at $3 per cupcake.

Do you bake cookies?

Yes! We bake sugar cookies every day and top them with vanilla or cinnamon buttercream for $.75 each. They're also available for special orders with your choice of buttercreams or custom designs (including printed corporate logos). Price for custom cookies start at $1 each. We offer Gluten-Free Peanut Butter cookies most every day, and usually a special cookie just for Saturdays

Why don’t you have bread?

I don’t know how to bake bread…and our cupcakes ARE that good.

Do you do wedding cupcakes or special event cupcakes?

Yes! Please call us or come in and talk to us about your event and we can create something VERY special for you! The more notice you give, the better... but if you just want our standard design of cupcakes, 24 hours notice is fine! We do need AT LEAST seven days of notice for any custom cakes or cupcakes with intricate designs.

HEY! You took my favorite flavor off your cupcake menu! Can you make it for me?

Sometimes I can make it RIGHT ON THE SPOT for you (depending if I have the buttercream on hand, like with Short Stack and PB & Honey), but if you'd like a previous monthly flavor, please give me at least 24 hours and your order needs to be at least one dozen of that specific flavor.

Can I buy just one mini cupcake?

No. Mini's are sold by the dozen, but you can have TWO flavors per dozen for $12.

How do I join your CupcakEClub? And why would I?

Our CupcakEClub is EASY to join and you SHOULD join right away! If you had joined before, you would have received our previous emails of "4-Box/$4 day" and "$2 Tuesday" JUST to name a few!
